Inviting or Removing Team Members
If you are the owner of your team, you have the capability to invite or remove team members in Shakr Studio. Number of team members capacity differs for each subscription plans:
- Start Plan: Up to 5 team members
- Scale Plan: Up to 20 team members
- Beyond Plan: Unlimited no. of team members.
On the left side menu of Shakr Studio, click on the 'Members' button and you will be directed to your team’s members page.The members page consist of three sections:
Owner:
Check who the owner of the team is. If your name is not in this section you won’t be able to invite or remove any team members.
Invites:
Here is the list of people invited by the team’s owner. The owner can invite new team members by simply clicking on the '+Invite member' button.
Members:
Here is the list of people who have accepted the invitation and became the member of the team. The owner can however remove members from the team by clicking on the 'X' button placed beside each member’s names.

Team Files Library
Having a centralized file-sharing library can enhance team-working efficiency when making videos in Shakr Studio. On the left side menu of Shakr Studio, click on the 'Files' button and you will be directed to your team files library page. Here, all of your team members can upload & organize various creative assets including:
- Custom fonts (Learn more on Uploading Custom Fonts in Team Files Library)
- Product images
- Product video clips
- Custom (original) audio files, etc.
All of your team’s creatives and asset files should be original and cleared license permissions for commercial use. You can simply drag and drop files in to the team files library.
Create a new folder, simply drag & drop files to store in team files library
Likewise, you can also access, upload and use Team Files Library assets directly while you are in Shakr video editor. Please have a look at Using the Video Editor articles to learn more about utilizing your team’s creatives and assets.
Uploading Custom Fonts
You can use fonts that you have sourced when making creatives in Shakr Studio. When uploading your custom fonts to Shakr Studio, there are certain requirements that have to be fulfilled. Please bear in mind that when these requirements are not met, your upload request may be rejected or your uploaded font may not function properly. Below are the requirements for custom font upload.
- You can’t upload a commercial font that is modified illegally to avoid a copy protection program. Please upload a font that is licensed properly. Also, please do not upload a font that is included in commercial OS or software. This can cause technical and licence issues.
- We may also reject fonts that are already registered in Shakr’s Font Library. We’re continuously uploading fonts that are free for commercial use to our font library. You can use all the fonts in the Shakr font library immediately without the approval process, so please check our library first if there is a free font you want to use.
- There may be cases where the font provider do not follow standard requirements when packaging a font file. We inspect custom fonts thoroughly to help you use a custom font safely. If your upload request were not approved and the issue is not from the two factors above, we would recommend contacting the font provider and use a font that meets standard requirements. If you don’t have any problem with the cases mentioned above but still can’t upload your custom font, please contact us via the chat bubble on the bottom right corner of our website.
Once you have uploaded custom fonts, they will be displayed as “Pending for Approval”. Approval process may take up to 2 business days. Once we approve your font file(s), you’ll be able to use them in the video editor.
